Kyra Epstein

Kyra Epstein loves helping people find the deep roots, healing, community, and magic that she has found in her sacred journey with plants. She leads events and sacred celebrations, prepares teas and medicines, leads Dances of Universal Peace, and is a sacred life path guide.
She has more than 20 years of experience writing and teaching people about the environment and ways to live more sustainably. She's been published in E/Environment Magazine, the LOHAS Journal (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability), and the Sierra Club's The Planet. Her master's degree is in Environmental Policy and Communication.
In her healing work, she apprenticed with Sacred Plant Medicine healer, herbalist and author Stephen Buhner, and she is lead forager and plant-community-builder for Gaia Tea — her bio-regional artisan herb tea company. She lives on the edge of ocean in West Marin County, California.
