Matt Berry offers a unique approach to ecological education, blending his interest and expertise in field biology, ethnobotony,primitive skills and permaculture. Matt has been practicing and teaching primitive skills and nature awareness for over a decade, first inspired by Tom Brown, Jr. Matt holds a B.S. in Forestry and Wildlife and has worked as a field botanist and biologist for various government, non-profit, and consulting groups.  Matt lived and worked at the Regenerative Design Institute for four years, and has spent much time guiding himself and others around the wildlands of Commonweal Garden.
