Savrah Kramer

Savrah has spent the past seven years exploring food, health, and nutrition. During a course led by Carin Mckay seven years ago, she realized that there was a foreseeable end to the obsessive thinking about food and body image that had plagued her life since childhood.

At that time she transitioned from teaching to cooking full time. Since then she has gone to culinary school at The Natural Gourmet Institute and attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become a Health Counselor. A few years into her journey, she had a health scare, which led her to adopt a raw vegan diet for nearly three years. During this time she lived at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center, a raw healing retreat center. There she learned to garden and grow sprouts. She also developed a love of raw food preparation and vegetable fermentation.

Currently, owns a fermented foods business called Savrakraut. She caters retreats, and she enjoys teaching classes in raw food preparation, cooking, and sprouting.
