Honoring Relationships with Sobonfu Somé

Feb 4 2012
US/Alaska

Offered: February 4–5
Location: Commonweal Garden

Join the Regenerative Design Institute in welcoming Sobonfu Some, author of "The Spirit of Intimacy" and "Welcoming Spirit Home" for this two-day, experiential workshop.

Are your relationships nurturing & celebrating your gifts?
Are you honoring the gifts in others?

We all struggle now and then with our closest relationships - marriage, partnership, friendship and community. In those times we need tools and processes that help deepen our connection to each other, to ourselves, and to nature. Our closest relationships require tending in order to thrive.

In this workshop, through practical advice, ritual and ceremony, Sobonfu will share the ancient knowledge of her West African culture, offering ways to make our intimate lives more fulfilling and secure, as well as, giving powerful insights into the “illusion of romance," divorce, and loss.

"In Burkina Faso, a relationship is considered good if it makes it easier for both people to contribute their gifts to the community.” ~ Sobonfu Somé
